To identify centres of excellence in TBI patient management

To disseminate the results of the project to the various target groups

To describe the epidemiology of moderate to severe TBI in seven countries

To build a prognostic model based on appropriate short- and long-term outcome measures

To identify determinants of optimal vs. suboptimal performance

To validate the CREACTIVE Petal in order to better characterise TBI patients across Europe

to contribute to determining the most effective clinical interventions for optimally treating TBI patients

To join forces in the fields of data sharing and database compatibility with the international collaborative initiative on TBI

To consolidate a network based on the existing PROSAFE consortium in order to set up an open-source database to collect data on moderate to severe TBI patients

To establish a dedicated repository to house and analyse biological samples from a selected subset of TBI patients, in order to identify prognostic markers and genetic predispositions to TBI complications and outcome;

To establish a clinical image repository to collect anonymized clinical imaging data in order to evaluate variability in the progression of both the haemorrhagic lesion and the perilesional oedema and to assess their association with the outcome
